Job summary

hammerjack Pty Ltd in Makati, Philippines, seeks an experienced AU Senior Bookkeeper to manage payroll and end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients. You will reconcile ledgers, prepare statutory lodgements, and support audits while assisting the Director with accounting tasks.

The role requires 3+ years AU bookkeeping experience, tertiary accounting qualification, and strong Excel plus familiarity with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. Hybrid work is available during probation and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' AU bookkeeping experience in a busy environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business administration, finance or related discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Australian awards and award interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Own ledgers and monthly bookkeeping including journals to balance sheet.
• Process payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and leave accruals with compliance.
• Prepare IAS/BAS statements and lodge statutory obligations.
• Deliver monthly balance sheets and P&L with variance analysis.
• Prepare annual budgets and coordinate audits with auditors.
• Maintain client ACNC records and project data in Asana.
• Keep timesheets and MYOB updates for invoicing accuracy.
• Support Director and provide regular status updates.
