Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage week-to-week accounting for a diverse Australian client portfolio from the Philippines. You will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and compliance support across 10–15 clients in a relaxed, non-corporate environment.

You’ll work with Nick in a small Australian team, using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, and communicate clearly to keep records accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Australian bookkeeping experience in an accounting or advisory context.
• Strong Xero proficiency; experience with MYOB/QuickBooks is highly regarded.
• High attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with varied client styles.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly books across 10–15 clients, adapting to each client’s processes.
• Enter invoices, code cash, and manage accounts payable/receivable tasks as needed.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Process payroll-related tasks and maintain supporting records.
• Assist with BAS and IAS preparation and related reconciliations.
• Provide bookkeeping records to support tax work as required.
