Job summary

HR TechX Corp in Metro Manila is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness. You will maintain employee payroll records, ensure compliance with labor laws, tax requirements, and statutory obligations, and prepare reports for management and audit teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with payroll systems and Australian payroll requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years end-to-end payroll experience in high-volume/complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compensation and benefits, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling Australian payroll: PAYG, Superannuation, STP, GST, BAS.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work regulations, Enterprise Agreements, Australian taxation, payroll compliance requirements.
  • Experience using payroll and HRIS platforms, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong payroll reconciliation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Reconcile payroll data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for management, finance, and audit requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing payroll records and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and data integrity.
