Job summary

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for an Australian client base within a Shared Services setup.

You will handle fortnightly and monthly payroll, rosters, leave, and tax calculations, while ensuring compliance with EBA and Australian laws. The role requires strong Excel skills and effective communication for liaising with auditors and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• At least 2-year experience in a similar role for an Australian company under Shared Services.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Confident, engaging manner, with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, Employment Hero and Awards/EBA is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• End to end processing of fortnightly payroll and monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies, EBA and legislative requirements in Australia.
• Fortnightly labour roster and timesheet review
• Leave, tax, superannuation and termination pay calculations
• Maintain employee payroll records and salary packaging set up
• Payroll journal posting, leave provisions calculations and reconciliations
• STP submission, novated lease reconciliation, payroll tax and work cover reporting and submission
• Liaise with external and internal auditors to provide payroll related reports, supporting information and query responses
• Assist with budgeting and rolling forecasting process related to payroll
• Assist with HR-related responsibilities as required
