What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system design and infrastructure architecture to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Provide system administration support to the Operations and Technology Team, including issue resolution and structured troubleshooting.
- Identify system vulnerabilities and performance gaps, and recommend or implement effective improvements.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule, and participate in the 24/7 Systems Operations Team on‑call rotation. Respond to and resolve critical system incidents in real time.
- Perform regular maintenance of software applications and operating systems.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including change records, validation documents, and system proposals or recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration and engineering roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Linux environments. Preferably with experience with the following distros: Debian, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, RHEL 7.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS/Azure, and other cloud providers.
- Knowledge and experience using Cisco Umbrella, or other similar applications.
- Experience performing maintenance and support tasks on front end/middleware applications.
- Experience with VPN servers.
- At least 3 years of working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and related services; including Active Directory Sites & Services, Active Directory Users & Computers, Group Policy Management, and DNS.
- Familiarity with Patch Management solution (WSUS).
- Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring and logging tools (i.e Grafana / Zabbix).
- Understanding of PCI compliance standards and requirements.
- Experience working with virtualization with hypervisors, preferably VMware ESXI and PROXMOX
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
- Strong interest in automation and demonstrated experience using Ansible.
- Solid understanding of Layer 1-3 networking concepts, including VLANs and basic routing (preferred).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, particularly ServiceDesk Plus.
- Nice to have: Remote Management Application experience.
- Willingness to work on‑site in BGC, Taguig.
