Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management and supervision of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise, train and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational standards.
• Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation and hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally and promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support inventory management, including stock checks, ordering supplies and managing costs.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during service times.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional events and special dining experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within the vibrant hospitality and tourism sector. • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role, preferably in a similar establishment
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and health regulations
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure during peak service times
• Sound understanding of inventory management and cost control
• Customer service excellence and problem-solving capabilities
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Secondary or tertiary qualification in hospitality management is advantageous
