Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support logistics, warehousing, and import operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics/warehousing, preferably FMCG, with hands-on exposure to import processes and vessel operations.

The role requires strong operational leadership, supply chain coordination, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Logistics & Warehousing, preferably within an FMCG company.
• Proven experience handling importation processes and vessel operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs documentation, shipping procedures, and port coordination.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable).
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, shrinkage, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.
• Supervise and lead warehouse personnel to meet operational targets.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time and cost-effective distribution.
• Work closely with sales and procurement teams to align supply and demand.
• Manage end-to-end importation processes including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with brokers and shipping lines.
• Monitor inbound shipments and vessel schedules to ensure timely cargo arrival and unloading.
• Coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, and transport providers for smooth cargo handling.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and shipping requirements.
• Track landed costs and support cost analysis related to imports.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable).
