We are looking for an ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER - Creative Services, Brand & Retail Experience who will lead Alfamart’s creative strategy, brand design, multimedia production, and retail experience across Commercial Marketing and Corporate Brand.
Translate business and marketing strategies into strong campaign concepts and cohesive creative executions across digital platforms, social media, in-store materials, print, video, photography, corporate communication, events, and other customer touchpoints.
Build and manage a multidisciplinary creative team that combines specialized ownership with strong cross-functional capability in graphic design, videography, photography, motion graphics, content production, and retail communication.
Establish Alfamart’s overall creative direction and visual standards.
Translate campaign objectives, customer insights, and commercial priorities into creative strategies.
Lead the conceptualization of campaigns, key visuals, brand systems, and customer-facing executions.
Ensure consistent application of the Alfamart brand across Commercial Marketing, Corporate Brand, franchise, leasing, employer branding, and retail touchpoints.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines, templates, visual systems, production standards, and asset libraries.
Review creative concepts for originality, relevance, clarity, and business effectiveness.
Protect the integrity of the brand while allowing creative flexibility across different audiences and platforms.
Lead creative development for Mailer, Big Bet, Big Savings, RTE, Prepared Food, seasonal campaigns, supplier-funded promotions, payment programs, GrabMart, and other commercial initiatives.
Ensure that campaign concepts are adaptable across digital, social media, print, video, in-store, and event formats.
Guide the development of Corporate Brand content for LinkedIn, Facebook Business, franchise, leasing, HR, PR, and stakeholder communication.
Review campaign themes, key messages, copy direction, mood boards, storyboards, and creative applications.
Recommend appropriate content formats based on the audience, platform, campaign objective, and customer journey.
Lead the creative direction for in-store campaigns, promotional displays, menu boards, product communication, store openings, and retail activations.
Ensure that store materials are visible, readable, practical, customer-friendly, and operationally executable.
Collaborate with Store Operations, Marketing Operations, Merchandising, and Store Development on retail communication and visual-merchandising requirements.
Review actual store implementation and recommend improvements based on customer visibility and operational feedback.
Develop standards for campaign zoning, material placement, price communication, and customer navigation.
Direct major photo shoots, video shoots, food and product shoots, store shoots, executive shoots, and event coverage.
Review scripts, storyboards, shot lists, production plans, editing directions, and final multimedia outputs.
Establish quality standards for photography, videography, lighting, audio, editing, color treatment, and motion graphics.
Determine which requirements can be produced internally and which require external agencies or production partners.
Build a reusable asset library covering products, stores, employees, executives, campaigns, and corporate activities.
Establish the creative briefing, job order, approval, revision, and final release process.
Set creative priorities based on the approved campaign calendar and business requirements.
Monitor workload, production timelines, deliverables, and creative resources.
Ensure proper quality control, proofreading, price checking, product validation, and production-file preparation.
Manage creative agencies, photographers, videographers, production houses, printers, and other suppliers.
Monitor creative-production budgets and recommend cost-efficient solutions.
Ensure proper file organization, version control, archiving, and turnover.
Lead and develop the three creative functions and their respective teams.
Establish multimedia-capability standards for all creative employees.
Conduct creative reviews, critiques, coaching sessions, and capability assessments.
Cross-train employees to reduce reliance on a single specialist.
Ensure appropriate workload distribution and collaboration among the three creative units.
Identify competency gaps and recommend training, equipment, software, and manpower requirements.
Promote creativity, speed, accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts, Advertising, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Communication Arts, Film, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field.
At least 5–7 years of experience for Assistant Marketing Manager level or 7–10 years for Marketing Manager level.
At least 2–4 years of creative-team leadership experience.
Experience in retail, FMCG, food, agency, e-commerce, or multi-branch businesses is preferred.
Strong portfolio covering integrated campaigns, graphic design, digital content, video, photography, and retail materials.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, video-editing platforms, photography, videography, motion graphics, print production, and AI-assisted creative tools.
