Job summary

KLT FRUITS, INC. in Dasmariñas, Philippines, is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to assist the Engineering Manager with planning, coordination, and oversight of projects from conception to completion.

You will conduct site inspections, review designs, assist in budgeting, and liaise with contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery. PE licensure is preferred and supervision experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 3–5 years in civil/structural engineering with 1–2 years in supervision.
• PE license or eligibility is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, records, and reports for regulatory and internal purposes
• Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineering staff and technicians
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant management capacity
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence or eligibility for licensure is preferred
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, practices, and methodologies
• Proficiency in engineering software and design tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar programmes
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous for site visits and inspections
