Job summary

Madamba Builders & Trading Corp. seeks a licensed Civil Engineer to lead structural design for building and infrastructure projects in the Philippines.

You will design reinforced concrete and steel systems, perform analyses with engineering software, and review drawings and reports. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and stakeholders; ensure code compliance and quality; assist planning, tendering, and site coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis.
• Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines is required.
• Strong background in structural analysis, design, and project execution.
• Proficiency with structural software: ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000.
• Ability to manage design deliverables and coordinate with teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects.

• Design RC, steel, and other systems per codes and standards.
• Perform structural analysis using engineering software and verify results.
• Coordinate designs with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, stakeholders.

• Identify risks, resolve issues, and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Attend meetings, site inspections, and coordination sessions.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, safety standards, and specs.
• Support planning, estimating, tender docs, and technical proposals.
• Monitor deliverables for quality, accuracy, and schedule.
• Assist with construction-stage queries, changes, and assessments.
• Maintain engineering documentation and QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects.




• Develop structural schemes, calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.




• Design reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.




• Perform structural analysis using engineering software and verify design results through independent calculations.




• Coordinate structural designs with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.




• Review structural drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and technical submissions.

• Identify design risks, resolve engineering issues, and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions.




• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination meetings as required.




• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.




• Support project planning, estimating, tender documentation, and technical proposals.




• Monitor design deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project schedules.




• Assist with construction-stage technical queries, design changes, and structural assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with specialization in Structural Engineering




• A Licensed Civil Engineer is required for this role
