We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Works Engineer to support the planning, development, and implementation of civil work projects involving infrastructure within the plant complex and other special project requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing project designs and cost estimates, coordinating with contractors, supervising project implementation, managing technical personnel, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
This role plays a critical role in ensuring that civil infrastructure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on time while meeting approved plans, specifications, and organizational requirements.
Prepare designs and cost estimates for new plant and non-plant-related projects
Coordinate with third-party contractors for the preparation of project-specific designs
Prepare cost estimates for approved Social Development Programs
Supervise and support the implementation of approved civil work projects
Ensure project designs and deliverables are completed and submitted on time
Manage the performance and development of technical staff
Provide direction and assign work to appropriate team members
Set measurable performance standards and provide timely feedback
Identify strengths and development areas of staff and support their capability development
Build and maintain productive working relationships within the team
Prepare and submit weekly project progress reports
Prepare monitoring reports related to work order requests
Monitor project activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors regarding project requirements and progress
Facilitate the design and construction of new buildings and renovations of existing facilities
Research and apply best practices in property management
Provide cost-effective recommendations for property-related purchases, contractors, consultants, and materials
Audit property development projects to ensure alignment with organizational plans and objectives
Inspect materials, workmanship, and architectural, mechanical, and electrical installations for compliance with approved plans and specifications
Prepare risk assessment plans in accordance with safety and health policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, health, and regulatory requirements
Support the implementation of ESH programs in the workplace
Identify project and operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Maintain required records and reports in accordance with established guidelines
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Civil Engineer
At least 2 years of experience in project management
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory and leadership role
