Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, and resolving technical issues. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of civil or structural engineering principles.
- Assist in preparing project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Supervise daily site activities to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper implementation of engineering designs on-site.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and site condition to maintain high construction standards.
- Coordinate testing of materials and maintain records of quality assurance.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Coordinate work among various teams and disciplines to avoid delays and conflicts.
- Track project milestones and report progress to senior engineers or project managers.
- Identify potential delays and propose corrective measures.
- Enforce health and safety regulations at the construction site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Address technical issues and site-related challenges as they arise.
- Provide practical solutions in line with project goals and regulations.
- Maintain daily site records, work logs, and progress reports.
- Prepare reports on labor, materials, and equipment usage.
Education
- Bachelor000s degree in Civil Engineering (Preferably a License Engineer)
Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in civil engineering architectural and structural.
