Responsibilities include approving transactions, maintaining KYC, managing risk, and supervising branch staff with emphasis on performance and training. The position carries significant accountability for audits and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields.
• With 3-5 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and KYC practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall branch operations and ensures efficient, accurate service delivery.
• Approves branch transactions within authority limits and secures approvals for larger ones.
• Reviews OTC and auxiliary transactions (deposits, withdrawals, FX, remittances, checks).
• Approves account openings and customer record updates; ensures complete KYC and documentation.
• Monitors maturities, conducts enhanced due diligence when needed, and ensures audit/compliance.
• Performs branch risk assessments, street-level controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Acts as custodian for cash and accountable items; ensures accurate balancing and reconciliation.
• Manages branch facilities, security, housekeeping, and inventory; oversees staff scheduling.
• Leads staff, sets goals, and provides coaching; ensures training and performance reviews.
