Job summary

Greenwich in the Philippines is seeking an Area Manager to guide area-specific plans for sales growth and achievement of quality and people targets across existing restaurants, aligning with district strategies.

The role also consults Group Managers and Franchise Partners to maximize sales and profits, oversees marketing initiatives at the area level, conducts restaurant audits for cost-control, and drives operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management, Marketing, or any business-related course.
• Minimum 3 years of store operations management experience in a QSR, retail, or similar industry.
• Willing to perform fieldwork across Visayas region (Cebu, Calbayog, Leyte).
• Amenable to based in Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development of area-specific plans for sales and profit growth and quality and people targets across existing restaurants.
• Oversee interpretation and implementation of plans; act as consultant to Group Managers/Franchise Partners to maximize sales and profits.
• Audit restaurants to check cost-control standards and guide action plans for identified deviations.
• Co-manage FCPC and daily targets with Group Manager/Franchise Partners as anchored in ROS for Inventory and Manpower Management.
• Create direct report development plan based on competency assessment and monitor milestones.
• Facilitate monthly review and analysis of business performance with Group Manager to drive operational excellence and maximize sales.

Job description

The Area Manager will direct the development of area-specific plans for sales and profit growth and achievement of quality and people targets of existing restaurants in alignment with district strategies. The role will also oversee consistent interpretation, implementation, and achievement of the plans and act as a consultant to Group Managers/Franchise Partners to maximize sales and profits and guide people, FSC, operations standards, and brand equity standards.

• Oversee the implementation of marketing (Brand campaigns and Trade promotion) & channel initiatives at the area level.
• Audit restaurants to check on compliance with cost-control standards, and guides the RMs in formulating their action plans for identified deviations.
• Co-manage FCPC and daily targets with Group Manager/Franchise Partners as anchored in the Restaurant Operating System (ROS) requirements for Inventory and Manpower Management.
• Create direct report development plan based on competency assessment and individual performance; implements/monitors the achievement of developmental objectives or milestones.
• Facilitate the monthly review and analysis of the business performance of the store/group of stores together with Group Manager to drive operational excellence and maximize sales.

Job Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management, Marketing, or any business-related course.
• Must have at least three (3) years of store operations management experience in aQuick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, or similar industry.
• Must be flexible in performing fieldwork within the Visayas region, such as in Cebu, Calbayog, and Leyte.
• Must be amenable to be based or assigned in Cebu.
