Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Supervisor — AR & Revenue Accounting to lead the AR and Revenue Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing in line with policies. You will oversee GL entries related to AR, revenue, promotions, and incentives; approve journals and refunds; and drive month-end close activities.

The role requires ERP experience (Oracle/SAP) and familiarity with reconciliation tools like Blackline, plus people management in a global Shared

Qualifications

Experience in AR and/or Revenue Accounting with month-end close ownership.
People management experience including coaching and development planning.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong communication to liaise with internal teams, regional heads, and outsource partners.
Experience as escalation point for AR issues and service delivery management.
Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems (preferred).
Familiarity with Blackline or similar reconciliation platforms (preferred).
Experience in a global Shared Services or BPO environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

Oversee AR and revenue accounting function.
Review and prepare GL entries related to AR, revenue, marketing promotions/campaigns, and incentives.
Review and approve customer payment journals to ensure accuracy prior to posting.
Review and approve customer refunds (manual and via payment console).
Monitor month-end closing activities related to AR, revenue, marketing promotions, and incentives in accordance with set deadlines.
Participate in month-end close activities including preparation of customer aging, revenue, marketing promotion, and incentive accrual reports.
Accounts receivable aging review — ensure timely collection of cash; escalate issues appropriately.
Validate Carrier Reports against recorded transactions and highlight material discrepancies.
Develop processes and procedures to ensure invoices, marketing, and incentive payments are processed in accordance with company policy.
Development of direct reports, including establishing individual development plans (IDPs) and overall succession planning.
