Job summary

Asia PeopleWorks, Inc. in Makati is seeking a capable Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team. The role covers AP, AR, and GL processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with standards and policies.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, support audits, and contribute to budgeting and financial analysis. Strong ERP experience and leadership are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounting team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial transactions and reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
