Job summary

Zenergize Tech Private Limited designs and manufactures SiC MOSFET-based grid-tied solar inverters and AC/DC EV chargers. An Application Engineer serves as the technical bridge between our products and installers, operators, and customers across inverters and chargers.

You will support pre-sales sizing, on-site commissioning, remote monitoring via ZenSense, and product demos. Travel to customer sites is expected; basic testing and field troubleshooting are part of the role.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics or related field; 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities: inverter/charger sizing, basic system design, and answering technical queries from dealers, installers, and customers.
• Assist with on-site commissioning, installation checks, and first-level field troubleshooting for GTSI inverters and EV chargers.
• Use ZenSense to remotely monitor units, pull telemetry, and help diagnose issues before and after dispatch.
• Run product demos and basic training sessions for dealers and field teams.
• Support internal testing and validation, and feed field observations back to the engineering and product teams.

As an ApplicationEngineer, you'll be the technical bridge between our products and the people who install,operate, and buy them — across both inverters and chargers.

What We're Looking For

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or related (1–3 years).
• Solid fundamentals in electrical & electronics – solar PV systems, and/or EV charging
• basics are a plus.
• Comfort reading datasheets, wiring diagrams, and basic test instruments (multimeter, scope, clamp meter).
• Willingness to travel for site visits and a customer-first attitude.
• Bonus: familiarity with MQTT/OCPP, basic networking, or any hands-on inverter/charger exposure.
