Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer in the Philippines to design PV and ESS solutions, support bids, and engage with clients on technical discussions. You will coordinate with sales, R&D, and product teams to ensure project success and adherence to grid codes and standards.

Strong PVsyst knowledge and English proficiency are required. In this role, you will develop complete technical solutions based on project needs, prepare proposals, and provide post-sales support as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• 2–3 years in renewable energy, PV, ESS, or power industry.
• Strong knowledge of PV and ESS system design, inverter tech, and grid standards.
• Experience in pre-sales or system design is preferred.
• Proficiency in PVsyst and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities; able to engage in technical discussions.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, proactive; English proficiency; international experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for PV inverters, ESS, and hybrids.
• Develop system designs including equipment selection and configuration calculations.
• Prepare technical proposals, documentation, and solution presentations for bids.
• Engage with clients in technical discussions and align solutions in pre-sales.
• Collaborate with sales and coordinate with HQ (product, R&D, technical support) for project execution.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries with accurate, timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local grid codes and electrical standards.
• Conduct market analysis on customer requirements, competitors, and trends.
• Support technical marketing activities to promote Sungrow products.
• Provide post-sales technical support and remote or on-site troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and service records.

• Conduct market analysis, including customer requirements, competitor insights, and industry trends.
• Participate in technical marketing activities to promote Sungrow's products and solutions.
• Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting via remote or on-site engagement when needed.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, service records, and support operational tracking (e.g., spare parts and expenses).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Electronics, Automation, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• At least 2-3 years of experience in renewable energy, photovoltaics, energy storage, or the power industry.
• Strong knowledge of PV and ESS system design, inverter technologies, and grid connection standards.
• Experience in pre-sales, technical support, or system solution design is preferred.
• Proficiency in PVsyst and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to handle technical discussions independently.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
• Proficiency in English; international or cross-border project experience is an advantage.
