Job summary

Elite Headhunting Incorporated is seeking an experienced APAC Technical Infrastructure Lead to oversee IT infrastructure operations and support across the APAC region. This senior role combines 80% technical responsibilities with 20% managerial leadership, reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, define purchasing strategies, and manage production systems. Occasional international travel may be required as projects span APAC and Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Microsoft platform deployment, diagnosis, and management.
• 5+ years collaborating with engineering groups on system configuration.
• Strong project management background with budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Cybersecurity expertise incl. penetration testing, intrusion detection, and awareness training.
• Supplier and budget management including CAPEX/OPEX and contract negotiation.

• Lead and mentor the APAC IT Infrastructure team.
• Manage Microsoft 365, local file servers, application servers, backup, email, web servers, and PCs.

• Oversee stock control for IT accessories, suppliers, and media.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced APAC Technical Infrastructure Lead to oversee IT infrastructure operations and support across the APAC region. This senior role reports directly to the Global Head of Infrastructure and combines 80% technical responsibilities with 20% managerial leadership.

You will manage day-to-day infrastructure support, mentor engineers, and define strategies for purchasing, supporting, and renewing production systems. While projects are primarily APAC-focused, you will also contribute to European systems and global initiatives. Occasional international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain APAC data centres, including DR site replication and reliability testing.

• Lead and mentor the APAC IT Infrastructure team.

• Manage Microsoft 365, local file servers, application servers, backup, email, web servers, and PCs.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies and ISO 27001 standards.

• Oversee stock control for IT accessories, suppliers, and media.

• Collaborate with global teams on lifecycle deployment, infrastructure strategy, and project delivery.

• Drive process improvements, supplier management, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Certifications: Microsoft Certification and Cisco CCNA preferred.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Microsoft technologies (Exchange, AD, Windows Server, SharePoint Online, Teams, Office 365).

  • Backup solutions, antivirus management, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, Veeam backup.

  • Network troubleshooting (WAN/LAN, routing, unified communications).

  • Network security and firewalls (Meraki, Palo Alto, SonicWall).

  • ISO 27001 and ITIL framework knowledge.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years in Microsoft platform deployment, diagnosis, and management.

  • 5+ years collaborating with engineering groups on system configuration.

  • Strong project management background (plans, budgets, milestones, deliverables).

  • Cybersecurity expertise (penetration testing, intrusion detection, awareness training).

  • Supplier and budget management (CAPEX/OPEX, forecasting, contract negotiation).
