Job summary

Visa Philippines is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support and execute day-to-day APAC payroll operations. You will perform end-to-end payroll processing and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.

The role requires deep APAC payroll knowledge, experience with multiple payroll systems, and the ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree.
• Preferred: 3+ years with a Bachelor's or >2 years with an Advanced Degree.
• Degree in accounting, HR or related field; or 5+ years APAC payroll exp.
• Deep knowledge of APAC payroll statutory regulations.
• Experience with multiple payroll systems.
• Experience with knowledge transfer, transition planning and process documentation.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate multiple projects.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Customer-focused, meticulous with strong analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain good vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in automation and use of AI tools.
• Proficient in English written and spoken; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and validation of payroll reports.
• Complete post payroll audits and reporting; prepare metrics and track errors.
• Review current payroll processes for improvements, standardization, and risk mitigation.
• Document payroll processes and create process maps and training manuals.
• Participate in payroll projects.
• Interpret pay policies and ensure correct calculations and deductions.
• Maintain payroll systems to correctly compute time, earnings, benefits, taxes and other items.
• Verify compliance with government payroll requirements and updates.
• Oversee payroll system testing for version and legislative changes.
• Participate in audits and required compliance documentation.
• Ensure payroll data handling per company guidelines.
