Job summary

Visa Philippines Business Processing Center, Corp. is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end APAC payroll activities across multiple countries.

The role involves processing, audits, and reporting, with strong emphasis on compliance and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in accounting or HR, deep APAC payroll knowledge, experience with several payroll systems, and strong English communication skills; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Human Resources or other relevant field.
• Deep working knowledge in APAC payroll statutory regulations.
• Exposure to working with various payroll systems.
• Experience with knowledge transfer activities and process documentation.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate multiple projects.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese a plus.
• Able to communicate effectively with payroll vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate payroll reports.
• Complete post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics and track errors.
• Review current payroll processes to identify improvements, standardization and risk mitigation.
• Document payroll processes and create process maps and training manuals.
• Actively participate in payroll projects.
• Interpret pay policies and ensure accurate deductions and compliance.
• Maintain payroll systems and tools to correctly compute earnings, taxes and benefits.
• Oversee payroll system testing for updates.
• Support internal or external audits and compliance documentation.
• Ensure payroll data is handled per company policies.
