Job summary

Western Union is seeking an AML Compliance Operations Specialist to support business analysis, process improvement and change initiatives across the APAC region. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, document changes, and maintain clear records while supporting agent onboarding and AML/KYC activities with meticulous attention to detail.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance or related discipline.
• 1+ year of experience in business analysis, AML/KYC, or compliance operations.
• Exposure to AML, KYC or financial crime processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks or inconsistencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document requirements for AML Compliance projects.
• Support agent onboarding review for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate new opportunities and assess impact/effort of solutions.
• Log, track and report change requests and initiatives.
• Conduct impact analysis and provide high-level estimations.
• Track discussions between business, technical and partner stakeholders.
• Support process improvement and update process maps.
• Assist with time studies and data analysis.
• Support analytics using Excel and other tools.
