Job summary

Western Union is seeking an AML Compliance Manager to oversee analysis of suspicious activity, ensure AML requirements are met, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed within a dynamic financial services environment. You will lead a team of up to 15, drive process improvements, ensure SLAs are met, and mentor staff to achieve department objectives.

Strong Excel and Power BI skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make independent risk-based decisions are essential.

Qualifications

• Higher education or equivalent experience in AML Compliance, investigations or risk-based role within financial services.
• Strong MS Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 15 and minimize AML risks through development and implementation of AML documents and procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, motivate the team, and meet objectives.
• Analyze trends and participate in AML projects; contribute to process improvements.
• Manage day-to-day workload to ensure SLAs are achieved.
• Identify process improvements and recommend system changes.
• Process high-risk approvals with proper protocols.
