Adamson University is seeking an organized administrative professional to support the Alumni Relations and fundraising efforts. You will help maintain office operations, coordinate meetings, and manage communications with visitors, donors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include preparing reports and grant documents, researching potential funders, planning fundraising events, and ensuring timely reporting.
To ensure well-organized programs and activities are properly implemented in order to establish and maintain the University’s strong linkages with its alumni as well as with various industries for fundraising.
Provides administrative support to ensure that office operations are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner;
Attends to day-to-day transactions such as:
Sets-up and coordinates meetings;
Provides administrative support with regard to emails and newsletters;
Recommends strategies to strengthen relationship with donors.
Assists immediate superior in building and maintaining relationships with potential funders and donors;
Monitors programs, tracks and documents of all necessary activities and completes all reporting requirements;
Prepares grants/project proposals and progress reports as required by program contracts and agreements;
Searches and researches potential donors and foundations to identify and evaluate potential funding sources;
Organizes fundraising events;
Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant course
6 months to 1 year of job-related work experience
Preferably an Adamson University graduate
Computer literate; Adobe CS3 or CS5, event planning/ coordinating, hosting skills
Ability to deal with people in varying levels
Oral and written communication skills
Reliable; dependable and initiative
