About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aluminum Machine Operator Lead to join our team in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our aluminum manufacturing operations. As the Aluminum Machine Operator Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing machine operations, ensuring optimal productivity, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of machine operators. This position is fundamental to our manufacturing success, directly impacting production schedules, product quality, and workplace safety. You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and serve as a key liaison between operational staff and management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of aluminum processing and manufacturing machinery, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently and in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor machine performance, identify potential issues, and conduct routine maintenance checks to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failure
- Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and logs of machine operations and any incidents or anomalies encountered
- Implement and reinforce workplace safety protocols, ensuring all team members comply with health and safety regulations and best practices
- Optimise production schedules and workflows to meet daily and weekly targets whilst maintaining quality standards
- Communicate effectively with the production management team regarding operational challenges, resource requirements, and production status updates
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery, escalating complex technical issues to maintenance specialists as required
- Train new aluminum fabricators on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company standards
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating aluminum manufacturing or processing machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of operators effectively
- Strong technical knowledge of aluminium production processes, machinery operation, and equipment maintenance
- Excellent understanding of quality control standards and the ability to implement quality assurance measures consistently
- Comprehensive knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices relevant to manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation, production schedules, and manufacturing specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage team dynamics
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and operational efficiency
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and operating machinery
