Job summary

Strata Results Group in Alabang, Philippines is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our client's travel team. You will manage accounts payable, PAL/IATA settlements, tax compliance, month-end and year-end closings, and maintain accurate ledgers and schedules.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and experience with airline accounting or BSP settlements is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy and related course.
• Relevant experience in general accounting and accounts payable.
• Experience with airline accounting or BSP/IATA settlements is a plus.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and statutory government payables.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices with complete documentation.
• Maintain AP records, aging, and monitor payment due dates.
• Prepare payment vouchers and bank transfer requests.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor airline billings, settlements, and related transactions.
• Ensure timely PAL and IATA remittances and BSP deadlines.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing and prepare schedules.
• Maintain proper internal controls and documentation.
