Job summary

SIA Engineering (Philippines) Corporation is seeking a senior aviation maintenance professional with extensive hand-on experience in airframe, powerplant, and related components. The candidate will lead maintenance projects, supervise teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while coordinating across departments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong English communication for technical documentation, a proven supervisory background, and MR & RII authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of aircraft airframe/PP/component maintenance experience.
• 5 years leading a completed aircraft maintenance project; min 2 years in supervisory roles.
• 5 years as certifying staff with MR & RII authorization.
• Has LVL 2 or LVL 3 type ratings/training relevant to the role.
• Understanding of AOC & AMO operations and related contracts/billing.
• Proficient in reading, writing and communicating technical English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure structure is available for execution and inspection buy-off of maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate between sections and departments for on-time project completion.
• Own control and management review/acceptance of work packages and cards.
• Lead authorized staff for execution, materials ordering, and interpretations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and communicate limitations and provisions.
• Generate and distribute on-time progress updates and status reports.
• Mentor the organization to sustain high workmanship standards and proactive planning.

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has accumulated a minimum of 9 years of aircraft airframe/power plant /component/part/accessory maintenance relevant experience.

• Has extensive handling / functioned as lead to a completed aircraft maintenance project, in an accumulated duration of 5 years. Has held supervisory and above position in aviation maintenance operation industry for min 2 years.

• Has been practicing as certifying staff for 5 years. And an approved MR & RII authorization, from previous authorization

• Has received multiple aircraft type rating course LVL 2 or LVL 3, line or base maintenance programs, or equivalent LVL 2 or 3 component training course relevant to trade assigned.

• Has the core understanding of sections and departments of an AOC & AMO operations, familiarity to contracts and billing.

• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate to an understandable level in English language in which the technical documentation and procedures necessary to support the issue of the certificate of maintenance written.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves to ensure the structure is available for the execution of practical execution and inspection buy off capability to aircraft maintenance tasks.

• Secures and facilitates coordination and interface between sections and other departments, for the efficient and on-time completion of projects.

• Has the direct responsibility of control and management review/acceptance, generation, and handling of work packages, routine, and non-routine card/s.

• Expert classification of findings and head responsible for leadership of authorized staff for execution, material and parts ordering and condition interpretations.

• Adheres and imparts in the group, the company policies and procedures

• Conscious compliance and imparts in the group, the acknowledgement of regulatory determined limitations and provisions.

• Ensures the generation and distribution of on-time progress updates & status reports of projects and coordination responsibilities.

• Provides support to the organization by leadership & mentorship, in maintaining high standards of quality workmanship, optimum performance, pro active planning, problem solving or mitigation.
