Job summary

Lean Solutions Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator – Ocean & Air Import to support international freight operations. The role requires attention to detail, proactive tracking, and clear communication with carriers, customs teams, truckers, and clients.

Responsibilities include ICE SOP compliance, booking, tracking, documentation, and milestone updates to ensure timely, compliant shipments. This position emphasizes efficient operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: high school diploma or higher in logistics preferred.
• 1–3 years in Freight Forwarding, Ocean Import, Air Import, or Logistics operations.
• Air Import focus: experience with U.S. Air Import shipments is preferred/required.
• Knowledge of international freight forwarding, import procedures, and transport docs.
• Detail-oriented with ability to process high volumes under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to master operational software.

Responsibilities

• SOP Compliance: Perform Ocean and Air Import tasks following SOPs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, airlines, truckers, clients, and internal teams.
• Booking & Tracking: Confirm shipments, update milestones via carrier portals and TMS.
• Documentation & Customs: Prepare and share Arrival Notices; provide shipment files to CHB team.
• Milestone Monitoring: Track shipments under customs examination and update stakeholders.
