Qualifications

• Supervisory experience with a focus on performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Hands-on experience on a 3PL or freight forwarding Air or Ocean freight desk.
• Experience overseeing daily Air/Ocean import and export workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and train assigned team members and trainees.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, 1-on-1s, and coaching sessions focused on performance management and team development.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, shift compliance and time tracking to ensure optimal staffing coverage and clear communication with client points of contact (POCs).
• Oversee day-to-day Air/Ocean import and export workflows across station accounts.
• Balance operational volume against team capacity, prioritizing urgent shipments to eliminate backlogs, prevent delays, and avoid unnecessary costs.
• Guarantee timely execution and high service delivery standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People Supervision & Leadership

• Team Guidance: Supervise, guide, and train assigned team members and trainees.
• Performance & Coaching: Conduct regular performance evaluations, 1-on-1s, and coaching sessions focused on performance management and team development.

• Execution: Monitor transactions closely to guarantee timely execution and high service delivery standards.

Qualifications

• JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience Level (Tier 1: 1–3 Years Experience):
• Supervisory experience with a focus on performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Prior hands-on experience on a 3PL or freight forwarding Air or Ocean freight desk.
• Proven track record overseeing daily Air/Ocean import and export workflows.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency on a 3PL or freight forwarding Air or Ocean freight desk, including TMS software and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with document management platforms (e.g., Doc360) and SOP governance.
