Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Lead Consultant, QA Automation Hybrid Testing Engineer - Playwright to design and implement AI-driven Playwright tests in a hybrid setting. You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality automated coverage across major user journeys and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Strong experience with Playwright and AI-assisted tooling, plus backend, UI, API, and database testing, is required.

Qualifications

Experience in software testing or test automation with Playwright (any language/framework).
Backend data validation, querying and reporting.
UI testing, API testing, and database proficiency.
Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for test script generation or refinement.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; proficient with Git and Agile/Scrum workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based automated test suites with AI-assisted creation.
Plan tests, generate scripts, optimize, and document AI-driven workflows using Claude Code.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure robust automated coverage across key user journeys.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, maintain dashboards, and contribute to automation process improvements; some manual validation may be required.
