Job summary

Genpact, a global leader in AI-driven digital transformation, invites applications for Lead Consultant, QA Hybrid Testing Engineer – Playwright/Python. This role blends hands-on test design with automation, across API, UI, and end-to-end scenarios in a fast-moving tech environment.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to craft robust test plans, implement Playwright/Python automation, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Playwright (preferably Python, ok with Typescript/Java Script).
• Experience with SQL and REST APIs. (Data validation and simple queries are ok) - tested web applications and complicated workflows.
• Experience with API/UI testing.
• Strong core testing skills with the ability to influence test approaches for repeatable testing and sustainable automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Potentially work on the continuous integration framework for the automation suite.
• Build automation frameworks and scripts for end-to-end testing, including API, UI, and other types of testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with the development team to resolve issues.
