Job summary

ecoPortal is seeking an experienced QA Engineer focused on automation to help deliver reliable, high-quality enhancements to our SaaS platform. You’ll work with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to expand automated coverage using Playwright and maintain rigorous test suites.

This automation-focused role also involves manual testing when needed, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and exploring AI‑assisted QA approaches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional QA experience with hands-on test automation.
• Strong experience testing web applications.
• Practical experience with Playwright.
• Experience building, maintaining, and improving automated test suites.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to perform manual testing alongside automation.
• Experience testing SaaS applications or other complex web-based products.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Experience with test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, Agile Test, Qase, or similar.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive, hands-on, responsive, and can-do attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience using AI tools or AI-assisted approaches in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated web test coverage using Playwright.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA to identify issues early.
• Contribute to manual, functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing when needed.
• Tackle edge cases not covered by automation.
• Participate in Agile development processes and continuous delivery.
• Explore AI-assisted QA approaches to improve efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
