Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (A) to join a partner-driven, fully remote team. The role emphasizes automation (about 70%) and manual QA (about 30%) within an enterprise-scale migration project. You’ll use Playwright, Qase, GitHub, Jira, and CI pipelines to improve test coverage and release confidence.

You will collaborate with engineers and product managers in an Agile setup, owning automation strategies and ensuring product reliability across a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience, including at least 2 years focused on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright is strongly preferred; Selenium/Cypress are valuable alternatives.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, with JavaScript beneficial.
• Experience with test management and issue-tracking tools (Qase, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Experience using Jira for defect tracking and GitHub for source control and CI/pipeline integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test scripts using Playwright.
• Convert repeatable manual test scenarios into automated tests to increase coverage.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and identify defects.
• Perform manual QA testing to maintain comprehensive coverage during migration.
• Monitor test executions and document results in Qase or equivalent.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Track defects in Jira with clear steps and supporting information.
• Support regression testing, release validation, and quality activities in the migration program.
• Perform API and data validation to ensure application accuracy.
• Assist in CI pipeline automation and testing workflow improvements.
