Job summary

Change Craft is seeking an Email Marketing & Client Database Manager to own outreach infrastructure for advocacy and public affairs campaigns. You’ll manage HubSpot CRM and Mailchimp, run day-to-day campaigns, and ensure clean, segmented contact data ready for mobilization across multiple clients.

You’ll also coordinate with account leads, test subject lines, and maintain documentation to support compliant, on-time communications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in email marketing or CRM/database roles, agency or nonprofit experience a plus.
• Hands-on with HubSpot and Mailchimp, or comparable platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns without loss of organization.
• Strong knowledge of deliverability, segmentation, and best practices.
• Detail-oriented with careful handling of sensitive contact data.
• Willingness to learn nonprofit/government/political email compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and execute email campaigns across client and coalition accounts in Mailchimp.
• Manage HubSpot CRM records, keeping data accurate and properly segmented by client and audience.
• Own ongoing outreach programs from planning through execution and follow-up.
• Create and maintain lists, segments, and tags to ensure correct audience targeting.
• Monitor email performance and translate results into recommendations for account teams.
• Maintain data hygiene, deduplicating, correcting formatting, merging lists, and archiving stale contacts.
• Manage data sync between HubSpot, Mailchimp, and other tools used across accounts.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and state political disclosure requirements.
• Collaborate with account leads to align outreach with broader strategies.
• A/B test subject lines and send times to optimize engagement.
• Document email workflows, database structure, and client-specific processes.
