Job summary

All About People Consulting is seeking a seasoned Accountant with supervisory experience to manage daily accounting operations in the Philippines. You will oversee AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, budgets, and analyses, coordinating with tax consultants, and leading a small team to uphold strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax and BIR regulations is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other accounting functions.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries and supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely processing.
• Review bank, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial reports, schedules, and accounting analyses.
• Monitor and maintain the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Ensure proper recording and documentation of company transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis when required.
• Monitor tax-related transactions and coordinate with external accountants or tax consultants, when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements, accounting standards, and other applicable regulations.
• Assist in audits and provide required schedules, documents, and supporting information.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls and procedures.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, collections, payments, payroll, purchasing, and other accounting-related concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.
