Job summary

Rimes Technologies is seeking a Senior APAC Financial Accountant to manage local books and lead statutory reporting across APAC entities, based in Manila. You will ensure accurate financial records, coordinate audits, and deliver insightful management reporting to support global growth.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, cross‑jurisdiction experience, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. You will work with IT, Operations, and HR on strategic projects and tax compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Experience with local and international financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Local Books and Records for APAC subsidiaries (including the Philippines, Singapore and Australia).
• Lead Statutory Financial Reporting and coordinate with audit firms.
• Produce and analyze management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and group reporting.
• Manage local bank accounts and payments; oversee invoicing processes for the global AP team.
• Handle Sales Tax compliance and support local tax reporting with the Global Head of Tax.
• Support strategic ad hoc projects, cross‑functional with IT, HR and Operations.
