Job summary

Paramount Human Resource Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Quezon City seeks an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting, GL updates, and period-end closings. You will manage AP and AR operations, ensuring cash flow accuracy and solid vendor relations.

Lead a small team, prepare financial metrics, and present insights to senior leadership. Strong Excel and ERP skills, plus knowledge of tax compliance, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification is a plus, but not strictly mandatory.
• Career Level: Open to Supervisor or Officer Level candidates demonstrating readiness for team oversight.
• Team Handling Experience: Experience supervising 1–10 staff members (or 1–2 direct reports).
• Solid knowledge of General Accounting principles, AP, and AR.
• Proficiency in accounting software / ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills for executive access.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, GL updates, bank reconciliations, and period-end closing activities.
• Actively monitor, process, and review AP & AR operations to maintain cash flow and vendor/client relations.
• Prepare and directly present financial performance metrics at MANCOM and OPCOM meetings.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of 1–10 staff members; manage workload and review accuracy.
• Ensure timely submission of tax requirements and adherence to policies and regulations.
