Job summary

APL Logistics Ltd. in the Philippines is seeking a Process Associate for GBS Finance Operations (Accounts Receivable) to support billing accuracy and timely financial entries. The role requires handling billings, invoicing, credit memos, and system data extraction while meeting SLAs and KPIs.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 0-1 year in Finance/AR is preferred. Strong Excel/Access skills, English fluency, and the ability to work under pressure are important. Night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• 0-1 year in Finance/Accounts Receivable; fresh grads welcome.
• Strong analytical and accounting knowledge; logistics exposure helpful.
• Fluent in English; good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Access and data querying.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and complete customized billings within SLAs.
• Ensure timely, accurate accounting entries in the system.
• Update cheque numbers and amounts in GFF; release cargo within 4 hours (urgent 2 hours).
• Monitor freight cashier emails; clear daily.
• Settle billing disputes promptly to avoid delays.
• Create/void invoices and upload credits/memos as required.
• Void invoices on origin/collector requests.
• Extract information from systems and deliver to stakeholders.
• Respond to emails the same day; provide prompt resolution.
• Back up team member and team leader as needed; update DPM on IFS.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs; escalate unresolved issues timely.
• Train new staff and assist with ad hoc tasks.
