Job summary

eClerx Philippines, Inc. seeks an AR Payments Specialist to process daily form payments (checks, lockbox, ACH/EFTs, credit cards) and manage refunds, NSF payments, and misapplied payments.

You will post payments from lockbox and bank files, and assist with credits and refunds. The role requires a BS in Accounting and 3–4 years in Accounts Receivable, with experience in cash processing and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in cash processing / cash applications / payment processing / banking and allocations.
• Experience in Bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with accounting software SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Process daily forms payments (checks, lockbox, ACH/EFTs, credit cards).
• Handle refunds, NSF payments, misapplied payments, and credits.
• Post payments from lockbox and bank files to billing system.
• Open mail/scan/process/deposit non-lockbox checks; mobile deposits.
• Research missing or misapplied payments; reconcile to bank before posting.
• Assist with audit requests; respond to data requests.
• Review/Process chargebacks and reverse NSF payments.
• Prepare and send monthly statements to loan customers.
• Assist with intercompany payments/transfers/invoices.
