Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is hiring an Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Application Specialist for onsite night shift in Pasay City. You will process high-volume payments (ACH, wires, lockbox, checks, cards), reconcile postings, and support month-end close.

You will collaborate with Treasury, Credit & Collections, and regional finance teams to optimize cash workflows and internal controls, with opportunities for career growth and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of accounts receivable, cash application, or general accounting experience in a multi-regional/multi-currency environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
• Proven ability to meet monthly close schedules and perform balance sheet/bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and professional customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume daily customer payments (ACH, wires, lockbox deposits, checks, credit cards) and match remittances to open invoices.
• Reconcile daily cash postings, bank deposits, and AR subledgers with general ledger reports.
• Research and resolve unapplied, misapplied, or short-paid cash items with agents, sales reps, and customers.
• Support month-end closing activities, GL balancing, and audit-ready record retention.
• Partner with Treasury, Credit & Collections, and regional finance teams to optimize cash workflows and controls.

Your Role:

As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Application Specialist, you will:

• Process high-volume daily customer payments (ACH, wires, lockbox deposits, checks, credit cards) and match remittances to open invoices.

• Partner with Treasury, Credit & Collections, and regional finance teams to optimize cash application workflows and internal controls.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or general accounting within a multi-regional/multi-currency environment.

• Hands-on experience working with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).

• Proven ability to meet monthly accounting close schedules and perform accurate balance sheet/bank reconciliations.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and professional customer communication skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment handling global operations.

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and functions).

• Fluency in the Spanish language (spoken and written).

• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset to streamline process efficiency and strengthen controls.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Treasury, Credit & Collections, and AP teams.
