Job summary

Aickman & Greene is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Manila to supervise the AP team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

You will review invoice coding, manage payment workflows, and coordinate with Procurement, Treasury, and vendors while driving process improvements and ensuring SOX/compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting or related course; CPA preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of end-to-end Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in multinational/shared services or TIC industry preferred; people management experience (3–5 staff).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable team.
• Monitor invoice processing (PO and non-PO invoices) and ensure accurate coding.
• Review approvals and GL allocations for timely vendor payments.
• Manage payment runs including checks, transfers, and electronic payments.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor disputes; reconcile AP sub-ledger.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare AP reports, aging analyses, accruals, and reconciliations.

Job description

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable team.
• Monitor invoice processing, including PO and non-PO invoices.
• Review invoice coding, approvals, and proper GL/account allocation.
• Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.
• Manage payment runs, including checks, bank transfers, and electronic payments.
• Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor disputes.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements and AP sub-ledger.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure outstanding invoices are resolved.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare/review AP reports, aging reports, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Treasury, General Accounting, Operations, and vendors.
• Handle escalated AP issues and serve as the point person for complex transactions.
• Train, coach, and evaluate AP staff.
• Monitor team KPIs, productivity, accuracy, and SLA performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Accounting or a related course. CPA license is preferred but not required
• Must have 3-5 years of experience handling end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Preferably with experience working in multinational company or shared services, TIC industry
• Must have people management experience, preferably with experience supervising 3-5 staff members.
