Job summary

CMA Agri-Development Corporation in Lipa City, Batangas, is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff on a full-time basis. You will manage vendor invoices, record payables, and ensure timely payments, supporting the finance team in a growing agricultural business.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with accounting qualifications preferred, and experience in AP/AR, using SAP, QuickBooks and Excel, with strong attention to detail and reliable, professional communication with vendors.

• Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Maintaining organized records of invoices, POs and supporting documents.
• Following up on outstanding invoices and communicating payment status to vendors.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing related to payables.
• Supporting the AP team with general admin tasks and data entry.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Staff to join CMA Agri-Development Corporation in Lipa City, Batangas on a full-time basis. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organisation. As Accounts Payable Staff, you will be responsible for managing vendor payments, processing invoices, and ensuring all payables are recorded accurately and processed on time. This position directly supports our finance team and contributes to the smooth running of our agricultural business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and verifying vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance with purchase orders
• Recording accounts payable transactions in the accounting system with appropriate documentation and coding
• Managing payment schedules and ensuring timely processing of supplier payments
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies or billing inquiries
• Maintaining organised records of invoices, purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Following up on outstanding invoices and communicating with vendors regarding payment status
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to payables
• Supporting the accounts payable team with general administrative tasks and data entry
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures

What we're looking for

• A high school diploma or equivalent; accounting qualifications or certifications are preferred
• Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting roles
• Strong proficiency with accounting software, SAP, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
