Connext, a premier BPO provider, hires an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a US-based client. You will handle vendor invoices, reimbursements, and payments with strict internal controls, while maintaining vendor relationships.

The role is remote (Davao) with night shift hours. Requires 2+ years AP experience, US accounting process familiarity, and ERP system proficiency; growth and permanent placement opportunities are available.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years Accounts Payable experience.
• Must have experience in U.S. based accounting processes.
• Must have experience in any ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate 3-way matching.
• Process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies.
• Manage weekly payments via ACH, wire transfers, and virtual cards.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, banking details, and tax information.
• Manage AP inbox and vendor portal inquiries.
• Support month-end/year-end closing, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file 1099 tax forms and support internal/external audits.
• Assist with AP automation, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive company information.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate/Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and disbursements. The role ensures compliance with internal controls, supports financial record integrity, and maintains strong vendor relationships.
