Job summary

Connext is seeking an Accounting Associate Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high-volume AP processing, including invoice entry, coding, and approval routing. The role also manages vendor inquiries, reconciliations, and period-end activities, ensuring compliant documentation and audit support.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of AP experience, including 1 year with Bill.com, and experience across multiple entities or cost centers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• At least 1 year of Bill.com experience.
• Experience processing high volumes of AP transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor bills in Bill.com accurately and on time.
• Code invoices to the correct entity, department, location, and GL account.
• Verify invoice details, prevent duplicates, and maintain documentation.
• Manage Bill.com inbox and route bills for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies and missing bills.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor records.
• Ensure timely period-end processing and provide audit documentation.
• Follow procedures and escalate unclear transactions.

Job Summary:

The Accounting AssociateAccounts Payable Specialist is responsible for high-volume accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, coding, approval routing, and vendor account management. The role also handles reconciliations, vendor inquiries, period-end activities, and audit support while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of vendor bills in Bill.com accurately and on time.
• Code invoices to the correct entity, department, location, and general ledger account.
• Verify invoice details, prevent duplicate entries, and maintain complete supporting documentation.
• Manage the Bill.com inbox, organize incoming documents, and route bills for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve missing bills, discrepancies, credits, and rebills.
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries and maintain accurate vendor account records.
• Ensure timely period-end processing and provide documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Follow established procedures, apply coding corrections, and escalation exceptions or unclear transactions.
• Assist with other accounts payable and accounting activities as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• Must have at least three (3) years of accounts payable experience.
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Bill.com.
• Proven experience processing high volumes of accounts payable transactions.
• Experience working with multiple entities, locations, or cost centers is a plus.
