Job summary

Dragon Edge Group in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Payable Associate to ensure accurate and timely processing of payables, maintain vendor records, and support AP reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has a 1–2 year track record in AP or general accounting, knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and strong Excel and Google Sheets skills. This role offers opportunities to grow within the Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
• FMCG experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• A strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor payments, check vouchers, telegraphic transfers, and other AP transactions accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain updated vendor records and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
• Prepare AP aging reports and reconcile vendor balances.
• Monitor and resolve floating items, supplier advances, and other AP variances.
• Record and monitor transactions using NetSuite/ERP systems.
• Maintain organized digital and physical AP records for audit and reference.
• Support compliance with AP procedures, VAT/EWT requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams such as Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve routine AP concerns promptly.
