Job summary

Global Virtuoso, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage end-to-end payable processes, ensure timely invoice processing, accurate GL coding, and compliant controls.

The role supports month-end closing and audits, and collaborates with procurement to resolve discrepancies. Based in Metro Manila, Makati, this on-site position requires 5+ years in global brands, US GAAP knowledge, and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle with Coupa).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years handling end-to-end accounting for a global brand.
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle (with Coupa).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, charts).
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Ensure proper coding of expenses to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monthly vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
