2GO Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Account Analyst to ensure accuracy of AP-related General Ledger accounts. You will review, analyze, and resolve discrepancies while supporting financial reporting reliability.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, perform root-cause analysis on AP issues, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AP scope. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance completed.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; familiarity with GL and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable analysis to ensure reasonableness of balances.
• Perform AP GL balance analysis and resolve aged items.
• Collaborate with Supplier, AP Invoice Processing, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve aged open items.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring AP issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead in creating insights on AP performance within scope.
• Identify process gaps and mitigate impact using data analytics.
• Ensure adherence to policies to mitigate process risks.
• Partner with Continuous Improvement to lead CI initiatives in scope.
• Support audit engagements and documentation requirements.
• Assist in process documentation and ad hoc projects as needed.

As an Accounts Payable Account Analyst , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of AP-related General Ledger accounts. You’ll review, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies while ensuring the reasonableness and accuracy of balances managed by Accounts Payable. Through your keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills, you’ll help maintain financial accuracy, support compliance, and strengthen overall financial reporting reliability.

You’ll do

• Manage the full accounts payable account analysis function ensuring reasonableness of account balances. - AP KPI on aged balances
• Performs AP GL Balance analysis and resolution of aged items
• Collaborates with the Supplier, AP Invoice Processing Team, Procurement, Finance in the Business, other Finance Functions and Workflow Owners in the timely resolution of aged open items.
• Performs root cause analysis on recurring AP issues and works in identifying and implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Leads in the creation of information and insight on the result of AP performance within area of scope.
• Identifies process gaps/red flags in the process through the use of large data and works to mitigate impact.
• Ensures compliance to the policies to mitigate process risks within area of operations.
• Partners with Continuous Improvement Team to identify and lead CI initiatives within area of scope
• Provides support during audit engagement within the area of scope, including securing documentation requirements
• Supports process documentation within area of scope
• Provides assistance in ad hoc projects/ activities as needed
