Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to own the AP function and steer a team through the next stage of finance transformation. This offshore remote role is based in the Philippines and is filled via a partnering agency supporting the offshore team.

The role focuses on end-to-end AP operations, strong controls, and driving automation, AI, and process improvements across the AP workflow, with collaboration across Finance, Procurement and IT.

Qualifications

• Significant end-to-end Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing an AP team.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, PO matching, payment runs, reconciliations and month-end cut-off.
• Experience with modern ERP, workflow and document-capture platforms.
• Experience in finance process improvement, automation or finance-system transformation.
• Interest in AI and emerging technology within finance, with responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and integrity with confidential financial information.
• Ability to identify problems, root causes and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable function and manage invoices, payments, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Coach, develop and set performance standards for the AP team.
• Oversee AP performance, workloads, backlogs, ageing, payment runs and supplier queries.
• Drive automation and process improvement to reduce manual processing and boost efficiency.
• Champion AI and digital technologies in AP, including intelligent invoice capture and automated matching.
• Maintain strong controls: segregation of duties, supplier controls, payment security and data protection.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT and other stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement across AP.
