Job summary

Symbos is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst based in the Philippines to support end-to-end AP operations within a high-volume finance function. You will process invoices, manage payments, and maintain vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with policies.

The role offers exposure to structured processes, regular month-end activities, and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement. Hybrid work arrangements and collaboration with global clients are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices with accuracy and required approvals.
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, PO, and receiving docs.
• Prepare and execute payment runs including bank transfers.
• Maintain records of AP transactions and vendor master data.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage vendor inquiries and build positive relationships.
• Monitor ageing reports to ensure timely payments and avoid penalties.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting regulations.
• Assist with audits and required documentation.
• Perform AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliation.
• Support tax compliance processes (e.g., withholding tax, GST).
