Sarah Cobbett Occupational Therapy is seeking an organised Accounts & Business Admin team member to join our growing Australian allied health practice. You will help manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, and business administration, working with Halaxy or Splose and Microsoft 365, from a remote setup.
The role requires reliable performance, independent work capability, and strong English communication.
Sarah Cobbett Occupational Therapy is a growing Australian allied health practice based on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. We help older Australians remain safe and independent in their own homes through occupational therapy services.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Business Admin team member to join our business.
You'll work closely with our Business Manager based in Gold Coast, Australia, and play an important role in keeping our financial and administrative systems running smoothly.
This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and business administration functions of the company.
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable and debt collection
Payroll processing
Bank and account reconciliations
BAS preparation and filing support
Preparing financial and business performance reports
Maintaining accurate financial records
General business administration and office support
You’ll be working with a range of modern cloud-based systems, including:
Halaxy or Splose Practice Management Software
Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams)
We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience
Business administration experience
Strong experience using Xero
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Confident working independently in a remote environment
Experience working in a healthcare or allied health business
Experience using Halaxy or Splose
Payroll processing experience
Experience using Salesforce
Full-time, stable employment (38 hours per week)
